5th & 6th grade is when many players level up their game - mentally and physically. Offensive and defensive concepts evolve along with the stick skills needed to execute them. We focus on offensive and defensive techniques appropriate for the 12U age level, as well as important skills like taking the draw and goaltending.

 

Practices include a Stick Skills practice Wednesdays 6-7pm at Daniel Warren, and the primary Team practice on Fridays 5:30-7:00pm at F.E. Bellows

 

Games are normally once a weekend, although we may need to schedule two if there's a make up or other conflict. Home games are at F.E. Bellows; away games require travel within Southern Westchester (typically no more than a 20 min. drive)

 

Season runs from mid March to early June, with breaks following the Rye Neck School calendar

 

Paid coaches lead all practices and games, with support from parent volunteers. If you are interested in helping on or off the field - please reach out!  Note, a background check and other training is  required for everyone working with players.

 

USA Lacrosse membership ($35) is required to participate in all RNYL programs, and must remain active for the duration of the program. Sign up here.
